It was nice to be able to have a sleep in and not have to worry about packing up.

Kids happy to have pancakes in the morning.

Did the north side of the bungle bungles today.

Which included the beehive loop walk

Then did the piccaninny lookout 1km walk

Started to get very very hot

Then continued on to cathedral gorge for another 2km

Due to being soooooo hot we didn’t really have enough water for the walk and the kids where happy to cool down under the hose back at the campsite

Watched the sunset over the bungle bungles

Left caroline pools at 8:05am

Stopped along the way and checked out a old shone Hut, built in the middle of no where.

Drove 170km to the Walardi campground at the bungle bungles

Arrived here at 12:10pm

Had lunch and started to setup.

Then went for a 2km walk to Echidna chasm

It was amazing.

The night was silent, not a sound. no cricket or any animal noises at all

Packed up by 8:30am

Checked out Wolfe creek crater

Then drove the rest of Tanami track to Halls creek, only had 10L of petrol left when we finally fuels up.

Checked out China wall & old Halls creek

arrived at Caroline Pools at 12:30 and setup. Then enjoyed the rest of the afternoon.

A Family pull up later in the afternoon from Qld that had already been traveling for 5 months with 2 kids. Our kids where happy to have someone to play with.

Left Tilmouth Wells at 8:45

Travelled on the Tanami Track

Road conditions better then expected

Able to do 80km for most of it

Crossed over into western Australia around 3pm

Arrived at wolf creek crater at 5:45pm

Left Stuart Wells roadhouse at 9am

Travelled to Alice springs

Picked up supplies & fueled up

Started on the Tanamai rd

Arrived at Tilmouth Wells Roadhouse at 1:40pm

Hundreds & thousands of flys, so had to buy fly nets

Kids played nicely together with there monster trucks

Woke up to a nice cold frost

Left Marla at 9:30am

Traveled 450km

Crossed the NT boarder

Arrived at Stuart Wells roadhouse at 1:30

Kids checked out the camel farm that’s next door

Sadly we will not be staying at Alice springs as no accommodation available due to the finke desert race

Dinner- Steak & chips

Left port Augusta at 9am this morning

Another long day driving 775km

Saw many salt lakes along the way

Stopped at glendambo for lunch at 12pm

Finally reached Marla roadhouse at 5:20

Setup and then brought dinner at the roadhouse while watching state of Orgin.

Dinner- chicken schnitzel + veges and chips

Temp – 2° -15°

Left Broken Hill at 9:15

Drove 415km to Port Augusta

Saw lots of emus along the way

Still very windy and cold

Had a quick lunch stop at ucoata rest stop didn’t stay long as too cold, windy and it started to rain

Arrived at port Augusta at 2:35

Had to go to the shops to get a few idea that we had forgotten.

Stayed at shoreline caravan park

Kids playing in the dirt with William’s monster trucks while adam and I set up.

Dinner- hamburgers

Left nice and Early this morning  at 5:26
Drove 949km  took 12hrs due to high winds.
Had  quick stop at cobar for a early lunch at 11:40 didn’t stay long as too cold and windy Arrived at broken Hill at 4:45
Stayed at broken hill outback resort ( open since Aug 2018)Dinner – Hotdogs
Weather- 4° -12°
Wind gust of up to 52km hour
We are nice and cozy in our heated camper trailer
