Turquoise Bay 24/8

Started the day with Bacon, eggs and hashbrowns cooked by the best husband in the world 😍😍 Then headed off to the vlamingh Head lighthouse built in 1912.

Awesome view from the lighthouse, watched countless whales breaching the water.

Anchor for the SS Mildura cattle ship that was ship wreaked in
1907 at the top of the peninsula.

So drove to the top of the peninsula and found the ship wreak.

Then drove to the turtle information bay, had awesome information about turtles life cycle & easy for the kids to understand. Sadly didn’t see any real turtles.

Drove into Cape Range NP, and went to mangrove bay, which had a bird hide, didn’t really see many birds
But the kids loved the idea.

Took sneaky photo of kids while on a walk

Sometimes they do get alongπŸ€—πŸ€—

Then went to the Milyering discovery centre, which has a awesome display of animals & shells from around the area.

Then we spend the rest of the day at Turquoise Bay, snokelling. where u start from one end of the bay and drift along the current to the other end, seeing hundreds of different fish, coral & a couple of stingrays.

Sorry no photo as on my waterproof camera, will show u when I get home.

Sadly William & April couldn’t snokel so left them on the beach to fend for themselves πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
