Yardie Homestead 23/8

Left Dampier nice and early at 7:30, drove 573km and arrived at Yardie Homestead at 2pm

Yardie Homestead is 35km out of exmouth.

staying here as we couldn’t get any accommodation in exmouth or along cape range NP.

As setting up we saw a Lace Monator walking through next door campsite ( we will be definitely making sure the tent is always zipped up)

Adam and the kids went over to the pool for a swim & cool down.

Had chicken schnitzel burgers for dinner, while cooking them at the camp kitchen Kids saw some kangaroo, they went out for a closer look & then 3 emu started walking pass, one stopped at the water trouth, knelt down and put its beak in & out of the water to have a drink.
