Clouds are all gone but still a bit cool in the morning.
Headed off to Dale’s gorge at 10:30
Firstly went to Fortescue Falls lookout.

Then headed down to the Fortescue Falls only a 400m walk down hundreds of steps.

William made a little friend with a lizard.

Then walked further up the river to Fern pool

Too cold to swim in, but didn’t stop William trying to catch one of the many fish.
Then walked along Dale Gorge, a 1km walk, lots of stepping stones over water and little waterfalls along the way.

At the end of the gorge walk was circular pools, the day had finally warmed up, but the water was still freezing cold, that didn’t stop Adam or the girls hopping in and having a swim.

Found out the water was warmer coming out of the rocks. So warmed up after the swim in the pool.

Loving the blue in the rocks which is natural asbestos.

End of the gorge walk, extra kid in photo is Dean from the campsite next to us.
Kids spend the test of the afternoon playing with Dean and his Lego.
